It is the aim of this workshop to bring together theoretical experts on Gaussian ensembles and experimentalists, who have realized setups to implement these ensembles or have options to realize experiments on ensembles not yet studied experimentally up to now. The "new ensembles" will be one focus, the other one systems with unusual properties, such as systems obeying classical time-reversal symmetry but still showing GUE statistics, or systems showing GSE statistics though there is no spin 1/2 involved. We are very interested in an comprehensive survey on the field. Therefore contributions are very welcome, even if the relevant work already dates back some time.
